Welcome to Our Faith Formation Program!

We're so excited to welcome your child into our Faith Formation program and partner with your family on this spiritual journey. We believe that parents are a child's first and most important catechists, and by registering your child in the program, you agree to the following commitments:

Your Role in Faith Formation

• Regular Sunday Mass Attendance: We require consistent attendance from your child, and we'll be monitoring it.
• Active Participation: Please actively participate in all Faith Formation program activities and events.
• Monthly Parent Formation Classes: Attend our monthly Parent Formation classes.
• "Word Among Us" Group Reflections: Participate in our "Word Among Us" group reflections.

Catholic Education is a ongoing process that is intertwined with human growth and development. It goes way beyond schooling. Beginning from the home, it continues in the school and matures through involvement with the parish community. The St. Lorenzo Ruiz's Prophet arm serves four particular groups in our Parish: the adults, young adults, youth and children. Each group is composed of serveral ministries.

I. Program Structure and Schedule

• Duration: Fourteen (14) Sunday Sessions
• Start Time: Each session begins promptly with 9:00 AM Mass (mandatory attendance).
  • Seating: Participants are required to sit in the first four (4) rows on the left side pews, near the choir area.
  • Note: The first row is reserved for lectors.
• Session After Mass: Following Mass, the session continues until 11:30 AM.

II. Registration and Fees

• Registration Fee: $150.00 (One Hundred Fifty Dollars)

III. Inclusions with Registration Fee

• A. "Word Among Us" Subscription: One-year subscription to "Word Among Us."
• B. Confirmation Gown: Provided for the Confirmation ceremony.
• C. Program Book: Required reading material for the program.
• D. Mandatory Retreat: Attendance at one mandatory retreat.
  • Inclusions: Meals are included during the retreat.

IV. Program Requirement: Saint Story

• Assignment: Participants are required to write a story about their favorite human saint.
  • Exclusion: Angels are not to be chosen for this assignment.
• Content Focus: The story should highlight:
  • The virtues from the chosen saint's life that the participant wishes to emulate.
  • How the participant intends to live out these virtues in their own life, inspired by the saint.
