Dear Parents,
Confirmation classes are just around the corner and yes we will be proceeding with having classes this year with some minor adjustments to accommodate for the new COVID regulations from the Archdiocese. First and foremost, the confirmation classes will be as usual on Tuesday/Wednesday @7pm depending on the class you were in enrolled in last year or enroll in this year. Secondly we will be having hybrid classes (online and in person). Each class will be meeting once a month in person here at St. Lorenzo and the other three days of the month will be online learning via zoom.
For the meantime the class that is meeting in person will be held outdoors until we are able to resume indoors. Each Tuesday/Wednesday there will only be one class present in order to limit the amount of youth here at SLR at a time. Masks will be required at every in person class meeting and we ensure social distancing will be in place at each one as well. If you have yet to register your child please do so immediately as classes are set to begin October 6 th and 7th . For your convenience, the Registration Form for the 2020-2021 school year can be found online at "documents"
There are MANDATORY Parent/Student Meetings set for Monday, September 21st & 28th, 2020 at 7pm which will be held via ZOOM (link will be emailed to you) where we will go over important information for the year.
Please select/RSVP on your child’s registration form on which meeting you would like to attend, the box is found at the bottom right of the form. Please join the zoom meeting 10-20 minutes early to check in. Meeting will start promptly at 7pm.
Classes will begin on October 6 th & 7th, 2020. We invite you to journey with us in preparation for our parish feast day by participating in the many activities here at St. Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic Community.
